Well it's Mom's birthday. She would have been 76 today. I miss her. I can't call her to wish her well - but I sure hope she's looking down on us smiling. Since she passed, I can report that I used her death as a reason to dive in with both feet to buying a house all by myself. A house with an cottage apartment that I'm turning into a rental. Why not?
